🥋 April Belt Testing – New Structure, Strong Finish to the Cycle!

We’re excited to announce that our April 6th–8th Belt Testing will continue building on our improved in-house testing format — now fully streamlined with a powerful finish to the week!

All testing will take place right here at Leander Taekwondo America, giving students the comfort of their home training floor and families the convenience of one consistent location.

This cycle, we’re introducing a clear Monday–Wednesday testing structure, followed by Leadership Training, Results Day, and a special Awards & Demonstration Night to celebrate everyone’s hard work.

5:00 PM – White , Yellow, Orange and Green Belts

🎯 Thursday – Leadership Team Training

Our Leadership Team Class will take place at 6:00 PM.
This is an important training and development night as we prepare for the new cycle ahead.

🏆 Friday – Results & Awards Ceremony

Results will be sent out by Friday at Noon.

Our Awards Ceremony begins at 6:00 PM, where we’ll celebrate promotions and showcase a special demonstration from our team. This is always one of the most inspiring nights of the cycle — families are encouraged to attend and support all of our students!

🔥 Saturday – New Cycle Kickoff Seminars

We’re starting the new cycle strong with two special training seminars:

10:00 AM – All Green Belt & Above Juniors
11:00 AM – All Green Belt & Above Teens & Adults

These seminars are designed to elevate performance standards and set the tone for the upcoming testing cycle.

🏆 Texas Taekwondo America Regional Tournament – May 15th & 16th | Leander, TX

We’re thrilled to announce that our next Taekwondo America Regional Tournament will be held May 15th & 16th—and we’re hosting it right here in Leander, TX!

This is an incredible opportunity for all students—from first-time competitors to seasoned black belts—to test their skills, grow their confidence, and represent our school in a high-energy, supportive environment.

Registration is officially open for this event, and we’re excited to see our students step onto the competition floor!

With our updated à la carte format, you can now fully customize your competition experience—choose the events that best fit your goals and interests.

This is a great opportunity to challenge yourself, gain experience, and have fun representing LTA!

⚠️ Important Registration Update

Registration works a little differently this time:

Instead of selecting a bundle first, students will:

Select the individual competitions they want to participate in
Use the listed coupon code associated with the number of competitions selected to receive the appropriate discount

Be sure to apply the correct coupon code at checkout to receive your savings.

Minimum Requirement:
All Orange Belts and above are required to compete in a minimum of two in-person events.
(Board Breaking does not count toward the two-event minimum.)

Whether you’re a Lil’ Dragon showing off your basics or a Black Belt earning points toward the Tournament of Champions, this event is open to everyone.

Competing is one of the best ways to:

Improve focus under pressure

🥋 Tournament Team Training Opportunities

In the weeks leading up to the event, we’ll offer focused Tournament Team training during skills class sessions to sharpen:

These sessions are designed to help students walk into the ring prepared and confident.

Family, friends, and spectators are highly encouraged to attend. Hosting this tournament in our hometown is a huge honor—and we want to represent LTA with pride.

This event will also serve as outstanding preparation for the September National Tournament in Dallas, making it an important stepping stone for those planning to compete at the national level.

Class in the Grass

Get ready for one of our most fun and memorable events of the year — Class in the Grass at Leander Taekwondo America! 🎉

📅 Saturday, April 18

📍 Lakewood Park (Overlook Section near the big field)

We’re taking training outdoors for a high-energy class, followed by an epic water gun battle and a community potluck picnic! It’s the perfect mix of martial arts, laughter, and time together as an LTA family.

Master Experience

BLACK BELT NATIONAL TESTING & MASTER EXPERIENCE

We are calling all LTA Black Belts to join us in Norfolk, VA, for a premier weekend of elite training and rank advancement. This is a high-level national gathering specifically designed for those who have reached the Black Belt ranks and are committed to the “Master” path of martial arts excellence.

🔥Why you should be aware

This event represents the pinnacle of our organization’s training cycle. It is a rare opportunity for our Black Belts to step outside the local studio and train with the highest-ranking leadership in the country. Highlights include:

National Testing: Witness and participate in the rigorous evaluation of our newest Master candidates.
Elite Seminars: Access advanced curriculum and specialized training not available in standard classes.
The Tournament of Champions: Compete against or support the very best practitioners in our organization.
Grandmaster Workout: A signature event for those dedicated to pushing their physical and mental limits.

Please Note: This event is open EXCLUSIVELY to students holding the rank of Black Belt.

Black Belt Master Experience: For Black Belts seeking an immersive weekend of advanced seminars, the Grandmaster workout, and national-level camaraderie.
National Testing Candidates: For eligible Black Belts who have been cleared to test for their next degree or Master title.
School Owners & Instructors: Dedicated leadership sessions focused on the future of our martial arts community.

Strict adherence to the following dates is required for all LTA representatives:

- Registration Deadline: June 1, 2026.
- Strict Eligibility: Late registrations will NOT be accepted. Students must be fully registered by the deadline to participate or test.
- Lodging Incentive: A $100 discount is applied to the Master Experience & Testing fee for participants staying at the host hotel.

Get ready for another high-energy morning of focused training, team connection, and martial arts growth at our next Super Saturday!

Open to all ranks, Super Saturdays are a great way to sharpen your skills, prepare for upcoming events, and build camaraderie with teammates across classes.

A fun and focused session for our youngest martial artists to kick off the day!

High-energy drills, movement strategies, and partner work to take your sparring to the next level.
